<p>Realizing village independence is one of the national development goals and requires village potential, community social potential, and natural resource potential which are the culprits as well as objects that are being built. In addition, in independence, it is necessary to optimize village-owned enterprises. However, in reality, many villages still do not know how to optimize village-owned enterprises. The purpose of this study is to describe an initiation of coastal waste as a potential for village-owned enterprises, especially in Pengudang village, Bintan Regency, Kepulauan Riau which has a positive impact on supporting the economy as the village's original income. The research method used is qualitative research with a descriptive approach.
