Abstract

This study is to determine the management of village-owned enterprises and the factors that influence them. This research was conducted using a qualitative research method with a case study approach in Riau. The participants in this study were the village head of Koto Rajo and BUMDes’s staff taken using purposive sampling. Data collection was carried out by observation, interviews, and documentation. Data were analyzed using qualitative data analysis. The results of this study indicate that management of the BUMDes S well and is developing properly, but there are still obstacles, namely the lack of community participation in the development of the BUMDes and slows the development of BUMDes.
